Land to Hand
SUPPORT LAND TO HAND'S CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
Land to Hand (formerly Farm Hands - Nourish the Flathead) runs the Columbia Falls Backpack Program that serves 350 school children each week. Our current space in Columbia Falls is the only reason we are able to serve so many hungry children. Land to Hand has been occupying a 60ft x 24ft (1440 sq ft) modular building located at 314 4th Ave West in Columbia Falls. This building is owned by the Columbia Falls School District and houses our food access programs.

This building must be moved by July 2022. The School District is supportive of Land to Hand and has agreed to allow us to move the building at our expense, to 1805 Talbot Road next to Columbia Falls Junior High and the Wildcat Garden. With the building move we will be located on the north fence line of the garden, bringing power, bathroom, and kitchen facilities closer to our outdoor education space. This move is economically prudent for our needs and has future expansion options. The total cost of the project is $220,000.

Whitefish Community Foundation awarded a $25,000 Major Community Project to Land To Hand In January bringing the total amount raised so far to $88,000. For more information on Land to Hand visit LAND TO HAND
