USE OF FUNDS: Funds will be used to provide CASA/GAL Child Advocacy to Flathead's foster children; to include monitoring the child's placement, needs and well-being, as well as making recommendations to the court regarding the child's best interest.
SECONDARY USE OF FUNDS:Additional funds will pay fees related to court testimony, and retain an attorney to assist advocates in court when cases merit this added layer of support.

USE OF FUNDS: Hundreds of children in the greater Whitefish area experience abuse and neglect. There are not nearly enough families available to care for them. Funds will be used to recruit foster/adoptive families to journey alongside these children.
SECONDARY USE OF FUNDS:Provide for the immediate needs of the foster children that Child Bridge families take into their homes, often on a moment's notice.

USE OF FUNDS: Adaptive Winter Ski & Snowboard Program at Whitefish Mountain Resort: DREAM provides ~1,000 winter lessons for individuals ages 5+ with disabilities, including lift tickets, adaptive equipment and trained instructors.
SECONDARY USE OF FUNDS: Backcountry Powder Camp, a week-long event for elite athletes held in collaboration with Great Northern Powder Guides and FOFAC.

USE OF FUNDS: Farm Hands - Nourish the Flathead is the program manager for the Columbia Falls Backpack Program. We will procure, pack, and distribute shelf stable and fresh food each week for 200 food-insecure children in the Columbia Falls School District.
SECONDARY USE OF FUNDS:To support Food For All programs including Double SNAP Dollars, Senior Coupons, School Coins programs, as well as staffing and infrastructure.

USE OF FUNDS: FAMB's Flathead Valley trail maintenance crew will conduct trail work on multi-use trails located on state land, in the National Forest, and in city and county parks in the Flathead Valley.
SECONDARY USE OF FUNDS:Purchase an enclosed trailer for FAMB's Youth Scholarship Program, which provides disadvantaged youth, identified for us by school counselors, with a free mountain bike package, six free skills clinics, and transportation to and from each clinic.

USE OF FUNDS: Big Creek Discovery School is a hands-on, field-based outdoor education program designed for K-12th grade students. This immersion learning runs from April to early June and starts again in September and ends mid-October.

USE OF FUNDS: WEF enriches and enhances innovative programs in Whitefish Public Schools by funding the Writing Coaches Program and the Early Childhood Literacy Program (with the Community Library), as well as special classroom projects, as our budget allows.
SECONDARY USE OF FUNDS:In support of our STEM program, WEF provides Maker Space Carts and supplies for grades K-8. If budget allows, WEF will send teachers for ongoing STEM training designed to make optimal use of Maker Spaces.

USE OF FUNDS: To present quality theatre, music, and dance events to engage our community in the arts and live performances, as well as offer an outlet for community members to actively participate in live theatre.
SECONDARY USE OF FUNDS:Additional funds will support free theatre, music, and dance outreach performances for rural students and seniors, veterans, and those with disabilities. Funds will also support reduced-price tickets for students, seniors, and other underserved populations.

USE OF FUNDS: Winter and summer retreats are planned for 12 injured veterans and family members; with outdoor activities and seminars to enhance interfacing skills, and boost resiliency and confidence to attempt new and challenging endeavors.
SECONDARY USE OF FUNDS:Establish reserves to build programs for local veterans and children of soldiers killed in the line of duty (Gold Star Retreat). These activities are expanding in partnership with the Kalispell VA Vet Center and the Folded Flag Foundation.

It has grown to be a major resource for the Foundation to help address the critical needs of our nonprofits, our schools, and our community.
